The Board Coordinate System

Each space on the board can be identified by a three part coordinate system consisting of a color name, a flat axis designation and a space number.
  1. Color identifies the hextant that is the root of the space.
  2. Flat Axis identified by the name of the Base Line piece in the axis.
  3. Space Number counted from the Base Line on the flat axis from 1 to 26 or 27.

The three parts are separated by periods. The colors and piece names may be abbreviated. So, Silver.Sovereign's Archer.9 can also be written as S.SAr.9.

See the illustrations and table below for notation structure and examples.

Note: Some spaces on the board may be referenced from any hextant, while others may only be referenced by opposing hextants.

Use the move tracking sheet to record the game.
